Our sympathies to you Erla and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve.
I got to work with Henry at Shoemaker Mill many years ago, and learned during that time, that he was a skilled self-taught millwright, who was able to meet any challenge with innovation and success, with customers requesting for his on site expertise. I also remember his dedication to his work, even working into the evening to complete a critical customer repair, even though it was the day that he and Erla would have celebrated their anniversary.
I remember his spirited dialogue and that sparkle in his eyes as he expressed his point of view. We are saddened that we could not again have resumed our conversations over coffee at church, as we did, prior to Covid constraints.
We will miss Henry.
