My sympathy to the whole family. It was always a pleasure to talk to both John and Betty. Liked to hear John's garage stories while I helped him out with repairs.

To Our Uncle John
You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. As we feel deep sadness of your sudden passing and how it happened, we find some comfort to know you are no longer in pain and you and Aunt Betty are reunited together again.
We want to thank you for all the wonderful memories we have of you and Aunt Betty as a child and into our adulthood. The many visits to the house where it was routine for you to get out the summer sausage and a can of pop and chat up a storm, or get the cards out and having Aunt Betty teach my brother Justin and I how to play asshole. The visits where Uncle John insisted we stay for dinner and he would order pizza, to have the delivery man come in with 10 boxes of pizzas for just mom, dad, my brother and I.
We will remember the laughs and smiles and conversation those visits brought and the things we have learned. We will always remember the times Uncle John and Aunt Betty would visit and the times Uncle John spent with us after Aunt Betty’s passing. We will never forget your laugh, the joy you expressed over your lawn care, trimming trees and your truck. Even your excitement at 82 years old riding Josh’s four wheeler.
You will forever live on in our lives and our families lives for years to come.
Thank you Uncle John for all you have shown us.
Love you always,
Justin Diebold, Kayla and Josh Stock

Gone but not forgotten. I will always remember our dear Uncle John, a flower girl at their wedding, him being Santa Claus when we were little or going for sleepovers and eating fudge and playing games. Never will I forget his smile, great laugh or big hugs whenever we visited. Uncle John always took great care in everything he did, whether it was looking after his beloved wife and home or fixing the car. Uncle John is at peace now with no pain and I'm sure loving to be with the love of his life. He will surely be missed and memories of him kept close in our hearts. Love, your niece Patty Bauman ( Oliver)

Uncle John will now be with Aunt Betty.
I enjoyed spending time with them baking Christmas cookies over 50 years ago.
They both worked hard paid their house off and then went on a second honeymoon to the Caribbean on my dads Bill Oliver Bettys brothers boat they had the time of their lives.
When I was little Aunt Betty and I shared the same bed for many years and she had this hope chest where she had these cute little trinkets which I will never forget.
Uncle John and I kept in touch after she passed I visited him we went out for Chinese food and he came over for bbqs
Will miss you uncle John
Love you Your niece Debbie Oliver
