We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. Leah was a very gentle, kind, and friendly person, who I enjoyed chatting with after the services at Hawkesville. She was very accepting of the way life was for her and yet she stayed positive. I really loved her and was glad to be friends with her. I will miss her dearly.

Sympathy to the family and especially Mildred. I remember many EDSS memories. Nora, you, and I were all daughters of Leahs. Mom's are irreplaceable. Covid makes hard things harder. This has not been an easy time with social distancing from loved ones. Losses are harder with restrictions. Wishing you all God's comfort.

I have wonderful memories of Aunt Leah's ground cherry pies that she always made when our family visited when I was a little girl. I also remember her beautiful garden. I'm not sure if memory has altered the image but I remember a large vegetable garden with lots of flowers and no weeds! Aunt Leah had a kind, gentle soul and I like to think of Mom and her enjoying time together in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family. It is difficult losing a mother and even harder during these times. With much love,
Sandra and family
