We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. Leah was a very gentle, kind, and friendly person, who I enjoyed chatting with after the services at Hawkesville. She was very accepting of the way life was for her and yet she stayed positive. I really loved her and was glad to be friends with her. I will miss her dearly.

Sympathy to the family and especially Mildred. I remember many EDSS memories. Nora, you, and I were all daughters of Leahs. Mom's are irreplaceable. Covid makes hard things harder. I have wonderful memories of Aunt Leah's ground cherry pies that she always made when our family visited when I was a little girl. I also remember her beautiful garden. I'm not sure if memory has altered the image but I remember a large vegetable garden with lots of flowers and no weeds! Aunt Leah had a kind, gentle soul and I like to think of Mom and her enjoying time together in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family. It is difficult losing a mother and even harder during these times. With much love, Sandra and family
