Gerber, Ralph J.
Peacefully passed away with his wife Debbie by his side on Tuesday, January, 26, 2021 at his home in Elmira at the age of 74.
Loving husband and best friend for 40 years of Debbie. Dear father of Christine (Brian), Tracy (Joey), and Steven (Cheala) all of Kitchener.
Grandpa of Nicole, Kira, Haley, Brianna, Jacob, step-grandchildren Katelyn and Brittney, and great-granddaughter Mia. Ralph enjoyed his visits with “singing dog” Walker.
Brother of Ken (Helen) of Hanover, Larry of Wellesley, Vera Sommerville of Kitchener, and brother-in-law to Joe Johnson of Kitchener, Betty Gerber of Millbank, Betty Gerber of Stratford, Deanna Gerber of Kitchener and Farral Thompson of Kitchener.
Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Rachel Gerber, sisters Mariane Johnson and Marg Colby, brothers William, Norman, Irvin, and Herb Gerber, brother-in-law Jim Sommerville, and sister-in-law Elaine Gerber.
Thank you to Dr. Rebecca Lubitz, Care Partners Jane, Barb, Amanda and Alison for the exceptional care shown to Ralph and Debbie.
At Ralph’s request cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service.
In Ralph’s memory, donations to The War Amps would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
