Obituary of Mabel Brubacher

Brubacher, Mabel (nee Snyder)~ Peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs. Mabel Brubacher age 83 years of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Francis Brubacher (2006). Dear mother of Dwight and Michele of Vancouver, Mark and Sandy of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren David and Sarah, Eric and Alex. Sister-in-law of Joy Snyder and Elton Bechtel. Mabel is the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by her parents Ephraim and Louisa (Martin) Snyder, her three brothers Lloyd, Angus and Mahlon, and her two sisters Almeda (Oliver) Weber and Ruth Bechtel. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Elmira Mennonite Church on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steven Janzen and Pastor Fred Lichti officiating followed by interment in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery. In Mabel's memory, donations to Elmira Mennonite Church or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
