Condolences to the Bloch family. I only knew of Diane through knowing Oscar, Kevin and Jeff through farming activities. But knowing those three at least gave me an appreciation for her patient and caring nature!
An excellent on-line tribute. Keep laughing and bless all of you.

Diane is a wonderful caring lady. Who was always welcoming and never sent me home with an empty stomach. I spent many an evening enjoying Diane's home-baked pies and the stories of what happened on the farm that day. Diane always could settle an argument when the harvest was completed each year by referring to her diary. Thank you Diane for your kindness Duke

A lovely service, she would have been so proud of her sister and boys for their memories of great times. We all enjoyed the Bloch hospitality and there is no doubt in our minds that her welcoming traditions will be carried on with Kevin, Jeff and Brent and their families. Her "halo" would have been bouncing this morning as she listened to her kids! God Bless you all.

What wonderful times we shared at Diane and Oscar's, with the eight of us kids, running around late into summer evenings, and then sitting down for a "bite" before we left to go home to Elora...a bite which consisted of fresh summer sausage, breads, pies, cookies, and whatever else came of out of the garden or canning jars. We remember you with love, Diane, and send our condolences to the family. From Michele (Norris) Veldman and crew

How do you say goodbye to such a beautiful spirited caring friend?
48 years of laughter, sharing coffee, baking Christmas cake on Nov.11 while the kids played, birthday lunches, driving to hockey games, Christmas shopping, euchre games, feeding a hungry work crew on a hot summer day and enormous support when my boys and I needed it are my treasured memories.
Diane was so proud of her 3 successful sons, their lovely wives and her 6 fine grandchildren that she could cuddle, pamper and love.
My heart is heavy.

I spent a couple summers on the farm with the Block family. Diane was always kind and sweet to me no matter how much trouble Kevin and I could muster up. I have always looked back on those summers fondly. I especially loved picking raspberries on the fence line with Diane, always eating more than what ended up in the basket. You were a special lady and will not be forgotten. Anthony Nihls
