Our deepest sympathy to you, Cindi and Dave, and family. I only met your mom a few times at RRC but her pride for CIndi was so genuine and deserved and CIndi's friendly bubbly caring ways are obviously a reflection of Shirley's life. Thankfully she did not suffer a long illness and Hospice was such a lovely place with all its caring staff that she was well taken care of. She will be missed-it is hard to realize that you will not hear her voice again which is what I noticed when my own mother passed. Blessings to all. Thanksgiving this year will be sad -but an angel looking down with pride watching her wonderful daughter prepare a great dinner.

What a lovely service and that we were able to share that with all of you. Sharon's fondest memory that first came was that Shirley took her to the school dance when she was hardly a teenager, what great fun and excitement. I was told that we had to go to Elmira to Shirley and family in the first stages of our relationship. I am grateful for that.We send all our love to all of you. Sharon & Dario

Dear Bob and family, my sincere condolences on the passing of Shirley... A lovely lady inside and out. We used to tease each other about who was on their computer the most. She will be sorely missed.
An angel has graduated.
Love and hugs,

I also remember Mom and Shirley playing Kismit for hours a day, always laughing, having fun and keeping track of who owed $ to who! I also remember helping out with putting together the Welcome Wagon packages, I think Todd and I got $0.05 per package. Very sorry for your loss. Duane & Sandra Brubacher

When we moved to Ernst St in the 70s, the Soehner’s were one of the first families we met. Mom and Shirley had a very long friendship and it included regular card playing and kismet! If mom wasn’t at home, we knew exactly where she was, across the street at Shirl’s, they were back and forth at least twice a day. I remember her laughter and funny stories, she was quite the lady and will be missed. Prayers and condolences as you deal with your loss, Steve and Boni Moser, Jan and Aden Brubacher
