Sincere condolences to the family in the loss of such a warm, beautiful woman. I still remember sitting with her 45 years ago as she helped me choose the flowers for our wedding. (Orange roses!) All the best to all of you as you enjoy the legacy she left. God bless!

I fondly remember when Uncle Don and Aunt Dorie took Tim, Debbie, Bill, and myself to Toronto to the movie, "The Sound of Music". It was just released. It was the first movie I ever went to. I remember Aunt Dorie thinking that it was 'magical'. I agreed and every time I watch that movie, I remember what Aunt Dorie said.

Aunt Dorie and Uncle Don hosted many great extended family meals. Their home was always welcoming and the food was delicious, especially the squares!
Aunt Dorie and Uncle Don were lifelong, supportive companions to our parents (Howard and Kathleen Brox), especially in their senior years. We are very thankful for that connection.

Dorie and Don were a wonderful team, and lead all the staff at Brox’s Old Town Village with Christian guidance. We had a fun work family and always knew they had our backs. I had the great experience of driving to the Royal York, in Toronto, to attend clothing shows, with Dorie, she taught me the ropes in the Clothing industry, buying and selling.
I will always remember and appreciate her stoic and steady leadership. Dorie was a wonderful example of a good parent, wife, boss, and friend. Respect would be the word I would use to describe the way I felt about Dorie.
With all that said, I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to all the Bronx family.

My mom considered Dorie a dear friend and so did I! Literally with homes facing each other, I fondly remember Dorie coming up the driveway to have a coffee with Mom. When Mom moved to Kingston Dorie came to visit and we had a great time. To my dear friends of the Brox family, I send my love and hugs. Here is trusting our parents are once more having a visit together in paradise with our Lord.
