We want to extend our deepest sympathies in the loss of your Father. Uncle Urias will be a man who will always be fondly remembered for his kind and cheerful spirit and the interest he showed in many lives.
Men call it life-
The path we tread through time,
This lonely road
with rocks and hills to climb
To blood-washed saints,
the moment they call death
is just the soul
absorbing heaven's breath.
We pray God's comforting presence will sustain you through this time of great loss. We are very sorry we were not able to be with you in person.
Your cousin, Stafford & Beth

I am sorry that I couldn't be there in person to honour my special Uncle Urias. As Judy said, he really was our favourite uncle. With his kind heart and fun-loving ways, he went out of his way to make our holidays on the farm a special time. I remember exciting wagon rides, and feeding turkeys, and always patient Aunt Edna ready to clean us up and feed us after the excitement was over. Even as I child I noticed Urias' interest in missions, and his caring heart, willing to invite young men into his home and invest in their lives.
All through the years, whenever we met, his welcome was always so warm and personal. Now it's his turn to be welcomed Home, young at heart as always, but strong and healthy again in every way.
I pray God comforts you all, Ray and Barb, Carolyn, and family, as you miss your Dad and Grandpa, as you hold to the faith that made him such a special man.

Sincere condolences to the family on the passing of Urias. that is a great picture of him. Always had a smile and looking a little mischieveous.
He was always one of my favourite people in this world from his younger years until his aging years. He always went out of his way to hunt me down in a crowd just to say " So....... Howz Mr Beeler ! Always interested how the family is doing ?
Made me feel important to him.
Its hard to say goodbye ,for now, to people like Urias. I`m sure he is doing well in his well earned place with his heavenly father.

It was a pleasure getting to know Urias or UB as we sometimes called him. He was a great friend to many people of all ages! We got to know Urias at Emmanuel Evangelical Missionary Church. Urias attended many of our events with the Seniors Ministry at church. He enjoyed life and having a great time where ever he went!
We send our deepest sympathies to Carolyn, Ray and their families as we are not able to attend the visitation. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless!

U.B. was such a good friend, and I so appreciated him. It was my privilege to be his pastor for 10 years at Emmanuel, and I got to know him and Edna in so many different contexts. Urias loved to travel, and I was able to go with him on a Mission's Trip to Athens, Greece where we ministered to refugees. I still remember the time he and Cole Bowman decided to teach their pastor how to golf. I don't think those two ever enjoyed a game of golf as much watching me make a complete fool of myself. I would have very much been honoured to participate in the visitation and funeral for U.B. and am honoured by the family's invitation, however death came visiting the church I pastor in Stratford as well and I just cannot be in two places at the same time. My condolences to the family, and my prayers as well...

Sending my love and prayers and sympathy to Ray and Barb and family and Carolyn and her family. I can truly say Urias was a favourite uncle of mine.. so many fond memories of summer holidays spent on the farm, which was always a highlight for a small town girl. Urias was fun loving and interested in our young lives, and went out of his way to provide special memories for my sister and I. In later years we always looked forward to his visits to Parry Sound, to see our family. They were usually short and sweet, as he couldn't sit still for too long!
We trust all your memories of dad and grandpa will bring comfort and peace in the coming days. We know our loss is Heavens Gain!!
Love and Prayers

From a young age at Emmanual Missionary Church, Urias always stood out to me as a joyful outgoing man that, quite literally, an active teen would stuggle to keep up with. At a young age he was a helper at Awana club which I attended, and that was my first taste of what a wealth of biblical knowledge he was, not to mention how young at heart he truely could be. When my teen years came around, I was a fixture in the Emmanual youth group where Urias would occasionally vollenteer himself from time to time as well. There came a time when our youth directers encouraged us to seek out a mentor type person to walk alongside us and help foster us into a more meaningful relationship with Jesus. I remember the time like it was yesterday. The decision to pick ask Urias was immediate. So I approahed him after church one Sunday, and asked if he would be my mentor. He got a huge smile on his face and said "Oh I hoped you would ask!!!" So began a wonderful mentorship that he always took very seriously. We would share lunches together from time to time and always stay in tough at church or by phone and stay in prayer for eachother. He would also never forget my birthday with a card, followed by a few verses to check out to encourage some quiet time. Later on, He lived in the same retirement home as my grandmother and we would always manage to run into eachother there as well. Up until two years ago or so, he still knew who I was was and could piece together some of the special bond we had, al though his memory wasn't as spry as it once was. Although very sad to lose a friend, I know his saviour and Edna have welcomed him with open arms. So long friend until we meet again.
