My prayers and blessings to you all in this time of deep grief. Thank you for letting us join in the celebration of Diane's life today via Livestream. I have been with you through the service and prayed with you as you journeyed to the cemetery. She not only rests in peace, but lives on in the newness of life beyond death. May you see God's grace in her life and in yours in the days to come. I look forward to us singing together a hymn in her memory in the months to come, Pr. Karen Kuhnert, St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs.

I was very sad to hear that Diane had passed away. She and Blair were my youth leaders years ago at St. James Lutheran Church. Diane always had a kind word and a friendly caring way about her. St. Jacobs won’t be the same without her. My thoughts and prayers are with her daughters, sisters and rest of the family. May God hold you in his loving tender arms during this time of grieving. What an everlasting impression Diane left on all the children passing by her house on their way to school. She always had a smile and positive cheery word for each. When we walked our grandkids to school, Bentley and Reese, John would always say if she wasn't out "wave to Diane in case she's looking". Bentley heard Nicole telling Nelson Diane passed away and Bentley said, "aww I liked her now I can't wave to her when papa takes me to school". You have our deepest sympathy along with all those school children. May God grant you strength, peace and comfort as you mourn the loss of your mom, sister and aunt.

You were the definition of a best friend, and I know you were that to many people. We were so lucky to have you in our lives and will never forget the many good times we had sharing a laugh, a cry or many times a rant. You always had a rum ready for Gary and lots of puppies for me. You were so thoughtful and caring, you knew just what each person needed. I’m glad you are no longer in pain and are reunited with the love of your life, so we will let you go and see you later. Rest In Peace my friend.
Love Mel & Gary

We were driving to visit with friends, when we learned of Diane’s passing. Many, many memories, of having the wonderful Cress family as best neighbours, came back to us. We will miss seeing Diane sitting on her porch, and welcoming me to visit. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

So very sorry for your loss.
Diane was the best part of heading out for our walks. She was always there to listen and chat with, always had a treat for Gus and a spot beside her for Datsun on her swing. Many times Datsun would skip our walk to swing with Diane. When I would come back the two of them would be smiling and giggling about something. We will all miss you dearly my friend. Rest easy
Love Geoff, Kim, Datsun and Gus

Mandy and Mark, Jess and Nate, I am so sorry for this huge loss. Be it at the rink, work, or as I honk driving by after work, always a huge smile! It is unfair to think of this loss of a second parent, but beautiful to think that after 16 years they are reunited again. All my love, Jess Passmore
