Ron was always a joy to work with while he was seed dealer for Syngenta/NK. I assisted Ron many times with his orders and program reconciliation. He was always extremely polite, grateful for the help and the most dedicated dealer I remember. He had so many growers that he serviced, it was amazing that he could have such a large grower base. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Ron's family. Cathy Hofstetter

Dear Eileen , family and siblings, we exrend our sincere sympathy, at the loss of a special member at Woodlawn. Chris met him at Heidelberg. He remembers Rons dad at many action sales. Rudy remembers Ron, in his plain suit every Sunday on the third bench, singing his deep bass voice. We appreciated his firm convictions for which he did not waver. Our prayers are with you. Dear Eileen and Family We offer you our sympathies on the loss of a Husband,Dad,and Grandpa. Ron was a happy go lucky guy.I remember him teasing my on the way to school,actually made me mad sometimes, which amused him even more. We enjoyed hearing his deep bass voice at church singing " washed in the blood". We will miss him,but he has earned his reward. We will continue to pray for you ,as you walk this journey. Ron was one of the hardest working and dedicated seed dealer that I have ever known. From the day he started selling seed for the legacy Funk Seed Brand through to all the other legacy brands like Ciba-Geigy Seeds, Ciba Seeds, Novartis and Syngenta, NK Brand Seeds. He was instrumental in acquiring a significant market share in his trade area in the IP soybean market with the NK Brand variety S-03-W4's. Ron had a great customer service record. With a customer base of over 300 farmers it didn't matter whether you were big or small or only needed a couple of bags or hundreds of bags. He treated everyone equally. As a territory manager he sure made sure that he kept me on my toes and it wasn't uncommon that Ron would be in contact with me 2-3 times a day to get more seed to him or ask about a customer inquiry. HE WAS A GREAT GUY! And I will miss him! My condolences to his family. Pete and Cathy Robson Listowel, Ontario.
