I worked with Joyce at the Cambridge Hospital for several years. Joyce was a dedicated professional always putting the patients needs first. What I remember about Joyce was her kindness and compassion and also the stories she shared of her wonderful family. She cherished her family so much. My deepest condolences.

Growing up, I knew Joyce as a neighbour, a high school friend, a.Church member and in nursing. I was a bridesmaid st her wedding. We lost contact but managed to rekindle a friendship in recent years as if no time had passed. She reluctantly retired from her carrier at the Cambridge Hospital. She treasured her nursing cap because it represented what she had worked for. So sorry for your loss, Bruce, Paul and family.

We were saddened to hear of Joyce’s death. I have many wonderful memories of years spent together in nursing school. I will remember Joyce for her tenacity in dealing with life. She was passionate about her nursing career. She adored her family and found great pleasure in golfing. That tenacity was present when she battled her health issues with dignity and courage. Our sincere sympathy to Bruce and family.

My sincerest sympathies to Joyce’s family and to her brother Paul. I used to walk past the Hoffer home on my way to high school and would sometimes meet up with Joyce on the way. Also my family attended St. James Lutheran Church along with the Hoffer family. I remember Joyce from those years as a very kind and caring person. I am so saddened to hear of her passing.

My heartfelt condolences to Bruce and all the Seip family. I worked with Joyce for several years. She was a caring and compassionate nurse, was so very proud of her family, loved to play golf. She faced her illness with a very positive attitude, handled setbacks with dignity and grace. She will be sorely missed.
