Kershaw, Helen (Siegrist) ~
Peacefully on Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Mary's General Hospital. Helen Kershaw (nee Hanley) age 77 years of Elmira formerly of New Hamburg. Beloved wife of her second husband Wes Kershaw (2009) and her first husband Bill Siegrist (1983). Dear mother of William Siegrist, Bonnie Johnson and her husband Jeff, Cindy Koebel and her husband Gerry, Ken Siegrist and his wife Karen, Beth Moss and her husband Randy, and Jill Campbell and her husband Chris. Also lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Jack, Bernard and Rose, Jim and Norma, Bill and Anne, Allen and Marie, Pat and Marian, and Marie and Hank Willms. Helen is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Nellie (McGuire) Hanley, her son Richard in infancy, and her brother Dennis Hanley (1999), and sister-in-law Helen Hanley. Helen's family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, Elmira on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Father David Lewis officiating. In Helen's memory, donations to The Waterloo Regional Lung Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses on the sixth floor of St. Mary's General Hospital for their wonderful support.
