I was very sad to hear of Clara’s passing. As her trusted financial advisor for 26 years she was always one of my favourites to visit. There were always great stories from the past, lots of laughs and of course her amazing baked goods. Every Christmas she would make a beautiful tray of assorted baked goods for my family. She also took an interest in my life and what was going on. She would give great advice to me based on her life experience and wisdom. She was like a mother to me after my mother passed. I would protect her from anyone about anything where I thought maybe someone was trying to take advantage of a senior. Taking care always of her best interests was a pleasure for me. She was a big part of my life as I had known her for half my life. She was one of the nicest, kindest, thoughtful people I have ever known. She was so special! I am going to miss her greatly but I have so many beautiful memories and pictures that I will cherish forever. A piece of me has been lost but I am forever grateful that she was a big part of my life. I am also so grateful that during COVID I was able to visit her from the street. I will never forget Clara.
