Obituary of Murray Stever

Murray Frederick Stanley Stever ~ Peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Walkerton Hospital. Murray was born October 3, 1939 in Wellesley Township. Beloved husband of Donna for 21 years. Loving father of Gail Forsyth (Albert), Mark Stever (Jackie Thibert), Valerie Myshok (Peter), Paul Stever (Patricia), Michelle Stever (Shawn Kauth), Ernie Hehn, Delbert Hehn (Carol), Brian Hehn (Denise). Wonderful grandfather to Amanda and Katelyn Forsyth, Cameron, Andrew and Brianna Myshok, Lauren and Hailey Kauth, Lynette and Justin Holiday, Kevin, Lacey, Isaac and Regan Hehn and great-grandfather to Brooke and Logan. Brother of Norma Cook, Bernice Kneisel, Fred Stever (Evelyn), Clayton Stever (Muriel), Clarence Stever, Merlene Cerniuk (Frank), Margaret Newhauser, Irene Irving (Bill). Predeceased by his sister Luella and his brother Wilber. Murray was associated with farming his whole life and was a talented fiddle player and enjoyed being with his family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by all. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Linwood on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mark Urquhart officiating followed by cremation. In his memory, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Walkerton Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
