Dear Donna: I am so so sorry to learn of your mom’s passing just a few days after my Mom’s passing. You are correct: we were fortunate to have our moms for so many years. They supported us all through our lives; and they became our friends in adulthood. It is difficult during this pandemic too. Take care. Be well. Thank you for your posting on my mom’s page as well

Betty and Al were our next door neighbours. (the Thomas') When we move to Elmira, in 1980, I was a teenager and didn't know many people. Al and Betty were very friendly neighbours and I remember sitting on their porch and talking about the neighbourhood and Elmira in general. Betty was a great lady. :)

The Guittards were close neighbours in Scarborough throughout my childhood. A wonderful family where I always felt welcome.....remembering Betty’s delicious homemade burgers enjoyed many Saturday afternoons. ......and wonderful summers at Gull Lake. My condolences to Donna, Wendy and family. Margaret
