To Karol and family,
I am thinking of you during this difficult time. Kim was an all around great man. I have always had a great deal of admiration for him as he was not only a friend to me but he became very good friends with my dad Gary Thoman. Those two had a lot of fun together and it was just a great match to see when we were snowmobiling up at the Thoman cottage at Lake Eugenia or on one of our many northern excursions. When my dad became ill, Kim being the great friend that he was to my dad was always there and came to visit him at regular intervals until he passed. This was one of the reasons I had such a large amount of respect for him and it showed his true character. I really enjoyed the memories I shared with him on our countless snowmobiling trips. I will never forget him. He will truly be missed.

I worked with Kim in the petfood industry. He was intelligent, hard-working and caring. He had a good sense of humour and loved animals. His family was all important.
When he retired from Elmira Pet he continued to drop by with treats for our office staff. He knew I especially liked his elderberry tarts, which he generously shared with me.
Kim was a very special person who will be greatly missed.
