Had many years of dealings with Earl at B&L Metal. Inter City supplied our welding needs. Got to know Earl well early on as in 1969 we purchased his home farm near Elora. Was a gentleman then and that continued as we connected through work. Sorry to hear of his passing. Our prayers are with his family

I first met Earl when I joined Inter-City Welding in 1970 and continued our friendship
throughout our working career that ended with Provincial Welding Supplies in 2005.
Earl was affectionately known by all Inter-City employees as " Woody ". Always
smiling and considerate and willing to impart his vast knowledge of all things
welding with everyone. His work ethic was beyond belief. Earl never knew or cared what time it was when it came to finishing a task. He was also known to be late occasionally, which prompted one of his customers to tell him that he was like the
"back of a watch". Earl asked him what he meant & George told him he was "behind time" and they shared a big laugh.
Nothing but good memories, corn roasts, stock car races and his devotion to his family & restoring his Edsel collection when he found time.
My sincere condolences to Joan, Dwayne, Bonnie & the extended Auger family on
their loss much to soon.

Dear Joan and family: Sending my sincere sympathy to you all in the loss of a dear husband, father and grandfather. Earl was such a pleasure to be around and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. I pray that God will give you the strength to go forward with your life knowing that Earl will always be watching from above. Joan, I am so sorry that this terrible virus is keeping me from being there to give you a loving hug but please know that my arms are around you and you will be in my thoughts. God Bless!

Inter City, Praxair, and Provincial were all made better by Earl. I never understood his endless hours. His stories of repairs and trips that went into the wee hours of the night. I asked him once. " Earl, when do you sleep ". His response " plenty of time to sleep when I die ". I can honestly say in those some 30 years of working with Earl. We nevered argued once. A great man and a better fellow employee. Sleep peacefull Earl. You've earned it.

Was always a joy to be with the Elmira Fire Department and decorate the Tree in at your Church.
Earl was coffee in hand, light bulb strings in the other, smiling an laughing. Great Community Person, may his memory continue in the same Spirit.
God Bless his family, remarkable man.
