Margaret was the always smiling tablemate of Dorothy O'Rourke at Winston.
We enjoyed talking with her. She always had entertaining stories, quips and jokes.
Margaret was up beat even though some days she was "down" and she shared her positive attitude.
We enjoyed her written works that she shared with us. She was thoughtful always thinking of others.
Even when her eyesight was not the best, she still sent birthday card greetings to Dorothy.
Our whole family will miss Margaret and happy she was part of our visits.
May her cheerful attitude and positive outlook remain in her family.
Blessings,
Dorothy O'Rourke,
Pam and the whole O'Rourke family.

Margaret was an outstanding leader in the service of the church. Her leadership reflected all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, peace, love, joy, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, self-control and gentleness. She was genuinely humble. While she was awarded two honorary degrees, we never recall an occasion when she expected to be addressed as Dr. Taylor. As a member of the wider church family, we share your loss and pray you will experience the support and companionship of the Friend who Jesus sent to journey with you.
With our love,
Arnold and Marjorie Bethune

We became close friends I remember the welcoming posters when visiting the laughter , the good times at WMS meetings. When we moved to Guelph we were able to renew our friendship . Being part of the wonderful “ Grand Ladies group “ I will miss our happy visits our good conversations of our families and our faith . You were a very special friend and real “grand Lady”.

Long ago in the early 1960s at St. Columba Belleville and over so many years, Margaret Taylor was the most kind, compassionate, understanding and giving "second mom" to so many "Sunday School" students, same as to Denton and her children, Ken, Sherrill, Marylu and to whomever else was in her life.
These attributes flowed caringly and lovingly to all within our St. Columba friendly family church, and beyond, to all who shared her commitment to the larger community, the Presbyterian Church in Canada, Ewart College and so many other organizations.
Margaret Taylor's lessons were so humbly given and graciously received because her understanding of faith, and devotion to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ was genuine, unparalleled and paramount, and she wanted others to learn and acknowledge a likewise commitment.
"Dr. Margaret Taylor", "Second Mom" and her lessons were justly earned, awarded and will long be remembered, lovingly and joyfully.
Warmest of thoughts about your mom, and condolences to Ken, Sherrill and Marylu, and families.

So many wonderful memories of Aunt Margie and Uncle Denton too....our families gathering together for cottage times (Halls Lake and Bruce Beach), Kampus Kaper weekends (Belleville), good food, and so many church events. The annual Taylor Christmas photos...letters and notes of encouragement with thoughtful enclosures...the many writing projects, her often frank opinions shared with her generous laughter. I give thanks to God for her many gifts shared, her friendship and love, throughout my entire lifetime. Love and prayers to Marylu, Sherrill, Ken and their families. Bonnie (Stinson) Holliday

Our family and the Taylor's have been friends for almost 70 years beginning thru Knox Presbyterian in Burlington. Despite many moves by both families the love and connections have remained nurtured by Aunt Margie and Uncle Denton. I cherish the memories of times spent in Burlington and Belleville and especially Bruce Beach. So much love mixed with a lot of fun. Aunt Margie will be missed by so many. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.

Dear Family and Fiends:
With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart I am writing this note to you. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved mother and precious friend.
With fondness, I remember, Mrs. Taylor weekly waking by my desk on her way to the Hair Salon at Parkwood Mennonite Home. Mrs. Taylor would stop and wished me well for the day and we would exchange a few sweet happenings. I felt sad when she decided to move to Winston Park; I missed her shining presence, kind disposition and friendly smile. I visited her a few times and she always welcomed me.
Dear Family, we have you in our prayers during this time of bereavement. With much love and God’s blessings on you, John and Stella Ruza, Parkwood Mennonite Home
