George and I were partners for ten years. He was a handsome man, well mannered and polite. He had a dazzling smile.
We danced every Saturday night...he was a good dancer, especially disco. Every Oktoberfest, Christmas, New Years & other festive occasions, we dressed to the nines & went dinner-dancing. He was always part of my family dinners as well.
On Sunday's we went for a drive in his Lincoln Continental...we both liked nice cars. Sometimes he took me to visit his parent's friends, Mr. & Mrs. Bemka, who lived on a farm near Mount Forest. Mrs Bemka made a rouladen dinner,,,very good.
We never argued, but he was proud. We parted because of it. When I saw him in the grocery store, he blushed visibly. I think he was sorry we parted.
