Dave came into our lives as the handyman. Do it all , no issues. Dave and Elmer did a reno on our old farm house and they made it look easy. It was fun , not really for Lynda , but all was accomplished in good order .Dave and Elmer left their hand prints on a furnace pipe leading upstairs, as did our family with paint. That house is now gone , but that special pipe , made it's way to Laura's new house , and is displaced in the basement for all to see. It has great value to our memories of Dave and Family. He carved a big swath and was in his element . We will all miss Dave , and he left a smile on all our faces. I'm smiling while I post this . We love you all. Many great times. God bless the Martin families.

Our sincere condolences to Connie and the family. David fought a tough battle. He was a hard working and long time member of the Upper Canada Two Cylinder Club plus others. He wasn't totally Green. Sorry for your loss.

Condolences from the Ponsonby Softball Community. I met Dave many many years ago while playing softball for the Ponsonby Ladies team. Dave graciously gave up his time to umpire our ladies league and minor ball at Ponsonby park. He will be missed.
Sincerely, Shirley Obergan and Ponsonby Minor Ball

DJ was a big part of many John Deere events over the years including the John Deere 175th Anniversary held in 2012 and the John Deere Grimsby 40th Anniversary held in 2016. Both events were held at John Deere Canada in Grimsby, ON. For each of these events DJ built Blacksmith Shops, a big addition to both events. His dedication to these events and other club activities will be missed.
