So very sorry to hear about Ron's passing. Our Linwood events won't be the same without his smiling face and supportive comments. We will raise a glass to Ron this weekend - and we know he'll be looking down with a smile on his face, and a drink in his hand. Marion, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family, as you mourn this very special man.

I had the privilege of knowing this fine man for 40+ years as his customer and his Optometrist/Friend. As we all know he was a kind and honourable person with many friends who valued his acquaintanceship and his counsel.
He will be missed and we offer the family our sincere condolences. L2T

Marion and family,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Ron when i was growing up. Going to the shop he’d always stop and chat. Guess you both were like second parents to us.Thinking of you at this difficult time.
With many regards,
Jennifer Rich

Uncle Ron was always eager to play along with any idea I dreamed up, whether it was building a bird's nest or dollhouse, or transforming his shed into a playhouse or cottage into a hotel. He watched my endless performances of "open the door Richard" and laughed every time. Boat races in the ditch, boat rides on the lake and joy rides in his corvette will always remain amongst my fondest memories of him.
I'll always remember antique hunting on the side of the road, sometimes I'd spot something without him only to go back later and see it was gone. When I'd fill him in later I'd realize it was missing because he spotted it too and had already picked it up.
My heart is broken knowing that you're gone, but your legacy will live on in the many lives you've touched and I know I'll see you in every sunset on the lake. Wine time on the back deck will certainly never be the same and I'll forever miss those shoulder squeezes and that sly smile.
Love you forever xo
