The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains....
For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.
We are so sorry to read of Lorna's passing, however we know that Anabel & Lorna are together again. (: Though the ones we love may leave life as we know it, in our memory, the love we knew will always carry on.
Sincerely,
Laurel, Jim & Family

Sandra, Leslie and families,
Sending sincerest condolences to all on the passing of your mother. I just re-acquainted with her the last few years while she resided at Elgin Lodge in Port Elgin.
I admired her honesty and fiesty spirit and enjoyed hearing some of her stories that she shared with me about my family past. May her memories bring you comfort and peace in the coming days. God bless!

Dear Leslie, Sandy and family
We were very sad to see that your mom has passed away. Lorna lived a long life! Please accept our heartfelt sympathy.
We hope Lorna was just as feisty in recent years, as we remember her being “back in the day”, and that she found peace and enjoyment in her latter years.
We have lots of happy memories of our times at your home on Valewood Place and up at the lake. We remember your mom fondly as a lovely, caring “2nd mom” with a great sense of humour (and a lot of patience!)
No doubt you’ll will miss her very much.
Sincerely, Mike and Susan Fitzgerald

I am so sorry to hear of Lorna's passing. She was such a lovely person and friend to all in our Southampton neighbourhood. She was happy, humorous and a little crazy in her own way. She loved walking and would round up anyone to go with her. It was never the same after she moved into Elgin Lodge. Loved her lots and will miss her greatly. Allan & Karen O'Brien
