Passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at his home in Kitchener, at the age of 72.

Kurt Baal is survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, their families, and sisters-in-law Shearn Baal and Linda Baal.

He was predeceased by his parents George and Maria (Kreitzer) Baal and siblings George Baal, John Baal, Mary Huschka, Hilde Kiss, Edda Daniels, Garry Baal, and Christina Baal.

Kurt worked at Arrow Shirt in shipping receiving until his retirement and then worked as a bartender at the Union Hall in Kitchener. Kurt will be remembered by his family and many good friends for his sense of humour and the fun he brought to any occasion.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kurt's life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 from, 3-7 p.m. at the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club. 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated.
