Obituary of Lorraine Bauman

A Celebration of Life will be held for Lorraine on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2 p.m., at the Elmira Pentecostal Assembly, 290 Arthur St. S., Elmira.

Passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Brantford General Hospital, at the age of 70 years. Lorraine was the dear sister of Pauline Tippel of London, and Wilma “Willi” Robinson of Kitchener. Loving aunt of Gary (Leona) Tippel, Glenn Tippel, and Stephen Tippel. Also fondly remembered by her many Bauman and Diefenbacher cousins. Lorraine’s warm smile, loving spirit, and sense of humour endeared her to all she met. Predeceased by her parents Cleason and Nancy (Diefenbacher) Bauman, step-mother Catharine Bauman, and brothers-in-law Ron Tippel and Kerry Robinson. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 6:30-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Interment will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery, 68 Church St. W., Elmira. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Elmira Pentecostal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ontario Federation for the Cerebral Palsied, or Canadian Cancer Society (in memory of Ron and Kerry) would be appreciated by the family.
