Obituary of Lorene Martin

Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the age of 71.

Lorene, of St. Clements, was the beloved wife for almost 50 years of Israel Martin. Dear mother of Grant and Miriam Martin of Listowel, and Neil and Sandra Martin of Wallenstein. Fondly remembered by six grandchildren, Lisa (Lloyd) Frey, Michelle, Nathan, and Ian Martin; Kelsey and Mitchell Martin.

Sister of Marie (Harvey) Weber, Gladys (Leonard) Martin, Earl (Elaine) Martin, Marlene (Ronald) Martin, and Paul (Elaine) Martin, and sister-in-law of Earl and Carol Martin.

Predeceased by her parents Henry and Viola (Martin) Martin, sister Doris Martin, and brother-in-law Lorne Martin.

Visitation for relatives and friends will take place on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m. and Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 9 a.m., then to Martins Mennonite Meeting House, 1056 Bridge St. W., Waterloo, for burial and public service.
