One memory I have of Betty was when Merle was laying brick at our house the week Zoe was born. Betty came to our house the day after Zoe's birth with a beautiful onesie and pj set.
I will also remember her laugh - unguarded and contagious.
We're praying for you as family in your loss and grief. May you find Comfort and Peace.
Love,
Janelle, for the Glicks

Meryle, Tammy Lisa Mike and families,
I left the funeral home today and it hit me hard that your wife/mom/grandma is gone. It truly is unbelievable. I have so many fond memories as a kid growing up with Tammy. I remember when I first learned your name was Tabitha, I couldn't believe it! I thought for sure my mom was wrong. And then I remember how cool that was.
I remember your mom driving us on school field trips in the van through the Hawkesville Hills and her telling the driver in front of us to "step on it or we won't make it up the hill!"
I also remember endless seasons of Ringette.
But most of all, I remember walking from my house to yours and your mom coming outside to safely cross me across King Street. Then doing the same to get me going back home.
I can also recall how hard I laughed when I heard about your home being put on the map of St Jacobs and a bunch of tourists walking around taking photos.
I am so very sorry for the loss of your mom - Mrs Martin (AKA Tammy's mom) - it breaks my heart. There is a fine line between the profound loss of a parent and the relief knowing that there is no more pain, no more cancer.
My thoughts are with each of you. I remember when my mom passed in May and at the funeral home your mom said to me "look after yourself, your family and your dad. Your mom was a great lady." Be sure to do the same for you. Look after yourselves. Your mom was a great lady.
My thoughts are with all of you.

Betty was so amazing at engaging our Mom when she was at Village Manor in activities and exercises.
She thought so much of you and you always made her smile.
I also remember your mom, Hilda, when I visited. She was such an inspiration and always reminding me of where her strength came from .
You will be missed by your family.
Also, Merle you were so encouraging to our son Joshua, thanks again
