Obituary of Blanche Marie Teahen
Blanche Teahen passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, in her 100th year, at Trinity Village LTC Centre in Kitchener.
She is survived by her nephew David Teahen (Holly) of Elmira, niece Kelley Teahen (Chris) of Toronto, great-nephew Jonathan Teahen (Alexandra) of Waterloo, great-niece Shannon Nash (Kyle) of Kitchener, and great-great-nephews Henry Teahen, Hudson and Jack Nash. She was predeceased by her parents Fred Teahen and Violet Elgie of St. Marys, brother Ted Teahen (2013), and sister-in-law Mary Teahen (2001) of Elmira.
Blanche spent her adult life in Windsor, commuting daily to the Canadian Consulate in Detroit where she served proudly in Canada’s Public Service, rising to the position of Office Manager there. She was actively involved in parish life at St. Clare of
A memorial mass will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary RC Church, 149 King St. N., St. Marys. Interment will follow in St. Marys RC Cemetery.
