Hefford, Betty (Teresa Elizabeth)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Barnswallow Place Care Community, Elmira, at the age of 92 years.

Betty (Feeley) Hefford was the beloved wife of the late Melville Hefford (1997).

Dear mother of Susan and John Tunstall of Waterloo, Mary Alice Hefford and John Riordan of Ottawa, and John and Margaret Hefford of Waterloo.

Loved grandmother of Simon (Melanie), Laura, Mark (Dorothy), Nikki and Lia; Kaitlin (Adam), Alanna (Amin), and Joel (Lauren); Matthew (Kelly), and Joseph (Nicole), and great-grandmother of Olivia and Colin.

Sister of Sister Margaret Feeley, and sister-in-law of Doug and Helen Hefford, and Barry Smith.

Predeceased by granddaughter Jennifer Tunstall.

Memorial visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Memorial mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 19 Flamingo Dr., Elmira. A reception will follow.
