Obituary of Beverly Carol Birmingham
July 18, 1943- November 12, 2018
Beverly Birmingham passed away suddenly, at her residence in Cambridge, on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Dear sister of Gary (Connie) Birmingham of Stratford, Glen Birmingham of Elmira, and Dennis Birmingham of Linwood. Loving aunt of Susan (Steve) Culliton, Mary (Gary) Flewitt, Lisa (Mark) Morrissey, Michelle (Mark) Sybersma, Mike (Erin) Birmingham, and Andrea (John) McCall, and her many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Royetta (Linseman) Birmingham and sister-in-law Darlene Birmingham. Beverly was retired from Cambridge Memorial Hospital where she was a dedicated nurse for 30 years. Bev was a caregiver throughout her life, always ready to help her family when they were in need. She was known for her kindness and generous spirit toward others and her love for her family and friends. Bev was a member of the Catholic Women’s League of St. Joseph’s-Stratford. A celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. There will be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A reception will follow at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
