Obituary of Annie H Bauman

Passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the age of 85 years. Annie (Reesor) Bauman was the beloved wife of Robert Bauman of Elmira. Loved stepmother of Larry and Verna Bauman, Rosanne and Steve Weber, Colleen and Maynard Freeman, all of Elmira, Rob and Cathy Bauman of Guelph, and Cheryl and Art Horne of Waterloo. Loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Margaret and Wayne Heatwole of Saskatchewan and Ina Reesor of Carthage, and sister-in-law of Mervin Brubacher of Listowel. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Willis B. and Annie (Hoover) Reesor, siblings Esther and James “Mac” Armstrong, Naomi Reesor, Henry Reesor, and Adeline Brubacher. Annie was an excellent baker and gardener and for many years went to the Waterloo market with her goods. She enjoyed her many friends at Chartwell and valued the activities they shared. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Interment will take place on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. at West Montrose Mennonite Cemetery, 6101 Middlebrook Rd., RR 1, West Montrose. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at Crystal View Mennonite Church, 2167 Floradale Rd., Floradale. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Christian Aid Ministries - Reapers of Hope would be appreciated. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Chartwell Assisted Living and Listowel Memorial Hospital for their loving care.
