Obituary of Vera Brubacher

Peacefully, on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Lisaard House, Cambridge, in her 88th year, of RR 1, St. Jacobs. Beloved wife of the late David B. Brubacher (2009). Dear mother of Joyce (Mrs. Earl J.) Martin of Elmira, Willard and Dianne Brubacher of Moorefield, Fern and Stuart Martin of St. Jacobs, and Sharon and Dale Martin of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren. Sister of Willard and Mary Ellen Martin of Lititz, PA, Gladys and Edward Diefenbacher of Moorefield, Marlene and Peter Kwandt of Renfrew, and sister-in-law of Lorne and Flo Metzger of New Hamburg. Predeceased by her parents David C. and Adina (Martin) Martin, son-in-law Earl J. Martin (2016), brothers Clarence, Cleon and Lloyd Martin, and sister Florence Metzger. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 9 a.m., then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. A special thank you to the staff at Grand River Hospital and Lisaard House for their compassionate care.
