Obituary of Johanna Ida Voisin

Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 22, 2018, at Barnswallow Place in Elmira.  Johanna was born February 2, 1930, in St. Clements to the late John and Martha Herteis. She remained in St. Clements with her beloved late husband of 60 years, Carl (2010), where they raised their children Steve, Greg (Cathy), Cindy and Christine. 

Adored and cherished Gramma of the late Michelle (2014) (Tony), Craig (Brandy), Melanie (Scott), Megan (Dom), Ryan (Kyrie), Jesse (Hayley), Colin and Kelsey. Loving Great-Gramma to Zack (Janessa), Cam, Nash, Sadie, Hannah, Isla, Liam, Brynlee and Great-Great-Gramma to Allianna.

Dear sister to Abbey (the late Marion), the late Joseph (Carol), the late Gerry (Arlene), Tony, Mary (Harvey), and Normie (the late Patricia).  She will also be missed by her extended family and friends.

Johanna was a loyal member of the St. Clement's RC Church and dedicated Christian Mother. She had a great smile and even better sense of humour. Her favourite  time was spent with her family and friends, and she also enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Johanna lived a simple life, but it was full.

Johanna’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur Street South, Elmira, on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The memorial service will be held at Dreisinger Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
