Obituary of Bruce Andrew Malina

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Grand River Hospital KW Campus on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at the age of 70 years.

Bruce was the beloved husband of Marlene (White) Malina of Elmira. Loved father of Christopher and Kelly White, Amanda (Steve Gourgue) Malina, and Jennifer Malina. Dear son-in-law of Annie White.

He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Bernice Malina.

Bruce worked at Rockwell International in Guelph for many years and more recently was a driver for the Guelph Mercury and Waterloo Region Record. He spent many years as a trainer and driver for Standardbred Horses in Ontario.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. A reception will be held at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
