Obituary of "Sonny" Clayton Joseph Kocher

Sonny peacefully passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, at the age of 86 years. Sonny Kocher was the beloved husband of the late Shirley (Foerster) Kocher (2015). Loved brother of Patricia Fehrenbach, Bernice Stemmler, Marjorie Krukowski, Edward (Shirley), Orville (Sharon), Douglas (Judy), Ronald (Marion), and Gary (Cheryl). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Rosetta (Klein) Kocher, and siblings Sally Rellinger, Joseph, Harold, Floyd, Lawrence Jr., and Shirley (Shaky). Sonny operated a number of businesses over the years: Sonny’s Crane Rental, Sonny’s Sharpening, and Presquile Camp, on the French River. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment to follow at St. Teresa Cemetery, Elmira. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Poppy Fund Royal Canadian Legion Elmira Br. 469 would be appreciated.
