Obituary of Harry Hilliard Eix
Peacefully, on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Grand River Hospital, at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Doris (Jank) Eix for 54 years. Dear father of Karen and Perry Weber of Elmira and Brian Eix of Floradale. Brother of Myrtle Jantzi of Levittown, PA, and Lorraine Fischer of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents Milton and Pearl (Hilliard) Eix, and brother Carl. Harry was a dairy farmer all of his life on his family farm in Woolwich Township. He was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, as well as an amateur ham operator. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family interment will take place prior to the memorial service. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 27 Mill St., Elmira. In Harry’s memory, donations to the Lutheran Hour Ministries would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
