Obituary of Elaine Carol Clay

December 16, 1938 – August 28, 2018

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Chartwell Elmira LTC Residence, at the age of 79 years. Elaine was formerly of Sault Ste. Marie until moving to Elmira in 2010.

Devoted mother of Mike and Sheila Cote of Elmira, Mark Clay of Sault Ste. Marie, and Janine Heath of Toronto, Loving grandmother of Allison (Jari), Jennifer, and Emma. Elaine is also survived by her sister Bernadine of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Annie (Currie) Clay, brothers Kenneth and Donald, and sisters Marguerite and Barbara.

Cremation has taken place. 

There will be a graveside Celebration of Life for Elaine on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at New Greenwood Cemetery, Sault Ste. Marie. 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Chartwell for the excellent care given to Elaine during her last eight years as a resident.
