Obituary of Lena Bauman

Passed away peacefully at her home in Goldstone on Monday, June 25, 2018, at the age of 65 years.

Beloved wife of Osiah Bauman. Dear mother of Esther and Anthony Horst of Lititz PA, Elsie and Silas Kuepfer of Elmira, Wilma and Laurene both at home, and Emma of Drayton. Dear grandmother of Jeffrey, Trevor, Alenah, Dustin, and Larissa Horst; Tyler, Ashlyn, and Riley Kuepfer. Sister of Susannah Bauman, Ion and Esther Shantz, Esther and Henry Wideman, Ervin and Lydia Shantz, Daniel and Salema Shantz, Louisa and Vernon Martin, and Nancy Shantz. Sister-in-law of Clayton Martin, Alvin Metzger, Joseph and Ada Martin, Almeda and George Martin, Cleason and Verna Bauman, Salome Bauman, Orvie and Esther Martin, and Clayton and Susanna Bauman.

Predeceased by her parents Ervin and Esther Shantz, sisters Elvina Martin, Mary Metzger, Erma Martin, two brothers in infancy, brother-in-law Milton Bauman, sisters-in-law Maryanne and Malinda Bauman, and Emma Martin.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, June 29, 2018 from 1:30-4:30 and 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 9 a.m. then to Goshen Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
