Obituary of Amsey M. Bowman

April 15, 1943 – June 18, 2018

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, after a brief illness, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, June 18, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Amsey Bowman, of Dorking, was the loving husband of the late Eileen Bowman (2017). Dear father of Dennis and Doreen, Douglas, Darlene and Keith Wideman, and David. Grandfather of nine grandchildren and three great-grandsons. Survived by his sister Edna Weber, brothers-in-law Lloyd (Mary) Martin, Edgar (Esther) Martin, and Leonard Martin, and sisters-in-law Erla (Clarence) Martin, Leona (Elmer) Martin, and Marilyn (Gerald) Weber. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary (Martin) Bowman and brother-in-law Aden Weber. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, June 22, 2018 from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 9 a.m., then to Goshen Mennonite Meeting House for interment and public service.
