I would like to express my sympathies to you, the family of Bridget MacLean, in her recent passing. I live across the street from her former home and knew her casually. In the summer times she would sit outside her garage door reading a book. I would occasionally walk across the street and chat with her a while. However, because I began to have mobility issues of my own it didn't happen the last several years. And now suddenly she's gone. I actually saw the ambulance there the day she left. At first I planned to go with the neighbours out to the viewing but also decided against it because of my poor walking.
Bridgett was a steadfast part of this neighbourhood. She was there when I moved here about 18 years ago and she will be missed,4bNp
