Titus M. Bauman

of Wallenstein, ON, peacefully passed away to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Listowel Memorial Hospital at the age of 88 years, six months and thirteen days.

Husband of the late Saloma (Martin) Bauman (2011). Dear father of Lester and Marlene Bauman of Stirling, AB, Anna and Dean Martin of Wallenstein, and son-in-law Glenn Myer of Harriston. Survived by brothers Moses, Henry (Erla), and Emmanuel (Adeline), sisters Adah Burkhart, Hettie Metzger, and Elizabeth Martin, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his daughter Betty, his infant daughter Adah, parents Titus and Adah (Martin) Bauman, brothers Josiah (Velina), Edwin (Selina), John (Hilda), and twin brothers (in infancy), sisters Selina (Isaac) Horst, Lydia (Joseph) Martin, and Katie Bauman, brothers-in-law, Elam Burkhart, Sidney Metzger, and Joshua Martin, and sister-in-law, Barbara Bauman.

Titus founded Bauman Manufacturing, which he owned for 25 years, but his main interest was witnessing for his Lord. He was a volunteer at the Guelph Correctional Centre for many years and provided transitional work for some of the men.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2018, and 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Crystal View Mennonite Church. Interment will follow in the North Woolwich Conservative Mennonite Cemetery, Arthur St. N., Elmira.

The family wishes to thank Anna and Dean Martin for their years of tireless and sacrificial care of our father and grandfather, as well as Alice Bauman, Grant and Gloria Martin, Dr. Annis, the nurses and staff at Listowel Memorial Hospital and various others for their help and compassion during the last twelve years of Grandpa’s declining health.
