Obituary of Vera Martin
Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Monday, April 16, 2018, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Clare Martin. Dear mother of Brian (Delphine) of Drayton, Murrel (Leona) of Alma, Brenda (Dennis) Lichty of Moorefield, Kent (Rosanne) of Drayton, and Donna (Leon) Kraemer of New Liskeard. Fondly remembered by 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Leona Weber and Alice Frey, and sister-in-law Lorene Martin. Also remembered by Clare's siblings Loreen Martin and Alva (Alma) Martin, and sister-in-law Seleda Martin. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Leah (Martin) Martin, brothers Earl Martin and Abner in infancy, a great-granddaughter, brothers-in-law Herman Weber, Abner Frey, Noah Martin, and Oscar Martin, and sister-in-law Vietta Martin. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 9 a.m. then to Goshen Mennonite Meeting House, RR 2, Drayton, for burial and public service.
