Passed away suddenly on Monday, March 19, 2018, of RR 4, Elmira, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late MaryAnn (Martin) Martin (2013). Dear father of Verna and Leonard Horst of Linwood, Laura and James Burkhart of Hawkesville, Marie and Abner Brubacher of Mt. Forest, and Elaine Martin, at home. Survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Brother of Emerson and Margaret of Ariss, Henry and Leah of Elmira, Maryann and Orvie Martin of West Montrose, sister-in-law Seleda Martin of Bluevale, David and Viola of Listowel, and sister-in-law Sarah and Henry Brubacher of RR 2, Wallenstein. Predeceased by his parents, Cranson and Barbara (Bowman) Martin, brothers Aden, in infancy, and Clayton (2017), brothers-in-law Jesse and David Martin, and sisters-in-law Malinda Martin and Susannah Bauman. Visitation will be held at his home, 2520 Three Bridges Rd., RR 4, Elmira, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 12-4 and 5-7 p.m. A family service will be held at the home on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 9 a.m. then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
