Obituary of Saloma E. Martin

Martin, Saloma E. (Eby) Passed away at her home, RR 1, Alma, on Friday, February16, 2018, at the age of 95 years. Dear mother of Mervin and Mary Eby of Elmira, Alice and Abner Martin of RR 1, Elmira, Erma and Eugene Martin of Palmerston, Irene and David Martin of RR 1, Alma, Fern and Earl Horst of Elmira, Florence and Oscar Martin of Nithburg. Saloma was blessed with 41 grandchildren, 175 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Murray Harris, sisters-in-law Emma (Ion) Weber and Lucinda (Samuel) Martin. Predeceased by her first husband Cleason Eby (1978), second husband Isaac Martin (2007), parents Alson and Rebecca (Eby) Martin, brothers Alvin (Lydia) and Aaron (Salome), sisters Sarah, Perseda (David) Horst, Ellen Harris, and Elmeda (Ion) Weber, and grandson Neil Martin. Saloma was a faithful member at Calvary Conservative Mennonite Church. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will take place on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Floradale Mennonite Church?, 22 Florapine Rd., Floradale.
