Obituary of Brenda Lynn Meng Bacon

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the age of 65. Brenda was smart, strong, fashionable, charismatic and a compassionate woman, who rose to every challenge. She had a wicked sense of humour and always appreciated a good laugh. Beloved mother of Amanda and Katherine Bacon. Daughter of Albert and Elaine Meng, and sister of Donna Zitars, Kevin Meng, Judy Carere, and Chris (Kim) Meng. Predeceased by her children's father Stephen Bacon and niece Michelle Zitars. Special thanks to Patti Creed and Darlene Murray for their care and kindness during Brenda's illness. Brenda took pride in her work as a Personal Support Worker at Briarfield Gardens. Anyone who was graced with her smile and warm heart is ever so lucky. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Brenda's life at the Dreisinger Funeral Home in Elmira on Saturday, February 17, 2018 with visitation at 1 p.m. and a memorial service at 2 p.m. followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
