Obituary of Lorene Snyder

Peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Chartwell Elmira Retirement Residence. Lorene, in her 92nd year, was the beloved wife of the late Freeman Snyder (1999). Loving mother of Elaine Clemmer of St. Clements, Keith and Diane Snyder of RR 3, Wallenstein, Steven and Laurene Snyder of RR 4, Elmira, Kenneth Weber of Tavistock, and Karen Kroeker of Kitchener. Grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by one sister-in-law, Elvina Bauman. Predeceased by her parents, Wendel and Elizabeth Martin, brothers Orlan (Adeline) Martin, Oscar (Irene) Martin, sister Viola (Henry) Martin, her in-laws Ira and Hannah Snyder, Leah and Elton Martin, Sylvester and Verna Snyder, Newton Bauman and Salome Snyder. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday evening, February 4, 2018 from 7-9 p.m., and on Monday afternoon, February 5, 2018 from 1-4 p.m., at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 9 a.m., then to Martin's Mennonite Meeting House, Waterloo, for burial and further service.
