Clarence was one of those guys that you were always happy to see.
And whenever he saw you, he also left no doubt that the feeling was mutual.
Adding my condolences to his family.
He is home with his Lord, but he will certainly be missed here for a very long time.

This is a very special day for you Eva and family,
Our prayers are with you as you are gathering for the funeral to be encouraged and refreshed in God's special Word to you personally today. How much we wanted to come for this sad-joyous time with you, but were unable to make it.
We treasure the visit we had with you in June on your northern tour, however it seemed much too short. some day we will have all of eternity.
God bless you all . David & Vera

Many regrets to not be able to be there for Clarence's visitation or funeral.
Unfortunately I did not get to know Clarence as well as I would have liked but I do believe that would have been the case if I had been in contact every day of my life, such was the quality of this man and his faith.

We were very blessed to have known Clarence. He truly was one of the best ... humble, kind and most of all, Godly. All 3 of our children were greatly influenced by him (and Eva) during the many summers they counseled at CBC with him as their mentor. They have so many fond memories and "Clarence stories" from CBC. We are sure that our Linda is rejoicing, reminiscing and laughing with Clarence even now in Heaven. God Bless you, Clarence! Our thoughts and prayers are and will be with Eva and the entire family in the times ahead. Clarence, you will be dearly missed....until we meet again....

Clarence i used to work for you back when I was a teenager at the Conestoga Bible Camp.I had plenty of good times and laughs but most of all it was you showing me the light. I was with your camp for 3 years as a councilor and 2 as a camper. I loved the bible studies that we had and your wisdom for Christianity and God was like no other. I'm glad HE came calling for you because I know that you will carry on working for HIM and shedding your light on us in only the way that you can.Yourself,Josh(aka Moose) his brother and Brad Martin all impacted my life so much and I Thank You for that and everything you've done.
Rest in Peace
See you soon

I had the pleasure of working with Clarence when he was the Director of Conestoga Bible Camp. I was a member of the board and the treasurer. As I began computerization of the Camp books Clarence wondered about doing the same with registrations. Once the programs were in place Clarence not only learned how to use them but had great ideas on how to improve them to keep the Camp running smoothly.
He was great to work with and his work at the Camp had an amazing influence on hundreds of young people who were employed as councillors and thousands of children who attended the Camp. My four sons, James, Jeremy, Joshua and John were both children attendees and councillors under Clarence and my wife Susan and I saw the positive influence Clarence had on their lives.
Praise God for this amazing saint.

Our thoughts are with your whole family at this time.
"He found his peace…and before he left, he comforted you.
He told those he loved the joys of a life lived fully in the service of the Lord.
He retold stories that should be remembered.
He gave you memories to pass on to those not fortunate enough to know him as you did.
He was ready before you were…Knowing he left nothing unfinished…
Knowing he would live on in your hearts"

Rodger & Karla, Brooke, Brayden, Sommer and Isaac Frey fondly remember Clarence. His leadership and friendship as we served as Youth Camp directors for many years was such a gift. We have so many memories to cherish. More recently, Clarence was a volunteer driver for the agency Karla works for. CCC was blessed to have Clarence as part of our volunteer team What a wonderful Godly man. Our thoughts are with all of you. God bless.
