Obituary of Erma Lois Martin

Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Heritage House LTC, St. Jacobs, in her 91st year. Erma is now joyfully reunited with her predeceased family in her heavenly home. Beloved wife of the late Orlan G. Martin (1993). Erma is lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Lucinda (Weber) Dettweiler, her brother Howard (Ruth) Dettweiler, sister Beatrice (Ervin) Martin, her in-laws Ananias and Rebecca (Gingrich) Martin, and Orlan's six brothers and four sisters and their spouses. Family and friends fondly remember Erma's cheerful, thankful disposition. We would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Heritage House for the amazing care provided to Erma for the last three years. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Road, Floradale, until interment in the adjoining cemetery at 2 p.m. Memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. In Erma's memory, donations to MCC or Floradale Mennonite Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
