Obituary of Erma Rose Gingrich
Gingrich, Erma Rose (nee Knechtel)
Peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, on her 88th birthday at Derbecker’s Heritage House in St. Jacobs. Beloved wife of the late Gord Gingrich (1997). Dear mother of Dave and Cindy of Elmira, Karen and Ralph Findling of Cambridge, Tim and Laurel of Regina, Saskatchewan. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Justin and Michelle (fiancé Todd); Daniel, Jonathan and Samuel; Caleb and Hudson, and by her great-grandson Logan. Sister of Alfred Knechtel, and Carol and Alson Martin. Predeceased by her parents, Ephraim and Edna (Snyder) Knechtel, and her siblings Clifford, Grace, Fern, Dorothy, Lila, Orval and Paul. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthurs St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Drive, Elmira. Interment in Hawkesville Cemetery. In Erma’s memory donations to the Gideon Bibles or St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Care would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
