Bauman, Lizzie Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at her home in RR 1, St. Jacobs, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Clayton S. Bauman (2009). Dear mother of Reuben and Emma of RR 2, Moorefield, Mary Ann Bauman of Elmira, Nancy and Nelson Weber of RR 2, Wallenstein, Joel and Lydia of RR 1, St. Jacobs. Survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Remembered by sister Esther and her husband Amos Metzger, sister-in-law Lovina (Mrs. Alvin) Shantz, brothers-in-law Oscar Weber and Melvin Metzger. Predeceased by her parents Elam and Annie (Brubacher) Shantz, daughter Anna (1956), son Aaron (1976), three great-grandchildren, sisters Hannah Weber and Malinda Metzger, and brother Alvin Shantz. Relatives and friends may call at the home of Joel and Lydia Bauman, 1764 King St. N., RR 1, St. Jacobs on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., and on Friday May 19, 2017 from 1-5 p.m., where family service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 9 a.m. then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. Service Summary Visiting Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., and on Friday May 19, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. at the home of Joel and Lydia Bauman, 1764 King St. N., RR 1, St. Jacobs, where family service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 9 a.m. then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
